Tufts Civic Semester
Big Data for Democracy
Tisch College has one of the biggest research teams in the U.S. devoted to understanding the challenges to our democracy—and the opportunities to build and sustain it. We use that scholarship to inform our own programming at Tufts and to drive national conversations about voting and elections, the role of citizens, the health of democratic institutions, and the power of young people.
Find Your Civic Pathway
At Tisch College, every Tufts student—whatever their field of study, school or degree program—has a pathway to civic engagement.

March at Tisch College! 💙🐘
This month we were thrilled to host several events for our community including Civic Life Lunches with Project Bread & our TCRC team, as well as a Solomont Speaker Series event with Mick Mulvaney. Students engaged throughout campus, and the country, with JumboVote participating in Read by the River hosted by Tufts Hillel, students attending Ramadan Culture Night (partially funded by the Tisch Fund), and our community engagement trip to the Mississippi Delta.
