Tufts Community Research Center recognizes outstanding community based research projects

On November 30, faculty and community members participating in the Community Assessment of Freeway Exposure and Health (CAFEH) study were recognized with the first annual Tufts Community Research Center (TCRC) Award. Participants in the Launch of the Vida Verde Women’s Co-Operative and Building Your Capacity: Advancing Research through Community Engagement were also recognized.

On Friday, April 8th, our daylong conference, The Roles of Active Citizens in Improving Education, will explore the many ways individuals can effectively engage in this critical national debate. This gathering is designed for everyone: students and parents, teachers and school board members, social entrepreneurs and volunteers.

On Saturday, April 9th, we will celebrate the remarkable contributions Tufts alumni make as active citizens. Alumni from all Tufts schools will share their innovative ideas and initiatives for social change. Attendees will leave inspired and equipped with valuable tools and connections.
