Hands On Disaster Response: Currently has two open internship positions to help development and communications managers. Positions require a 90-day commitment, and are on location in Leogane, Haiti. Tufts Haiti Relief Coalition
A diverse group of student organizations has united to coordinate campus-wide fundraising events for earthquake relief work. The Coalition includes representatives from the International Relations Honors Society, RESPE: Haiti, the Jackson Jills, the Freshman Class Council, Tufts Senate, Chabad, One World, and the International Relations Director's Leadership Council, as well as several individual students. Crisis Mapping
Within minutes of hearing news of the quake that struck Haiti on Jan. 12, Patrick Meier (F'12) began rallying the Tufts community in an effort to bring crisis response into the age of texts and Twitters. Read more on this crisis mapping effort.
