Organization’s primary purpose: The mission of the Haitian Coalition is to organize Haitians to improve the economic, political, physical and social environments in Somerville and Cambridge, Massachusetts and to provide services to Haitians living in the surrounding Greater Boston area, primarily Medford, Malden and Everett. The Haitian Coalition offers ongoing programs in community education and civic participation, economic development and youth and family services

Key to success? Increased the number of participants from 25 to 60, ad more classes this year, attract youth from all race and ethnicity at the computer center
Potential barrier? Not enough money to hire staffs/ not able to pay a grant writer
