Supporting the university-wide nature of Tisch College, Tufts faculty may apply for a secondary academic appointment and Tufts staff may apply for a secondary appointment in Tisch College. These appointments support active citizenship teaching, research and service in all schools and support cooperation between schools, academic departments and Tisch College.  

Academic appointments in Tisch College will be made at the same level as a faculty member’s primary appointment in their home school.  These appointments are for three-year, renewable terms and do not carry any financial compensation.

Applications must be endorsed by the faculty or staff member’s department or program chairperson and school dean. Applications will be reviewed and approved by the Tisch College Faculty Executive Committee and the Tisch College dean.
