This fall, Tisch College and the Office of Campus Life are collaborating to launch the Leaders for Change (L4C) initiative. In collaboration with other Tufts programs and student groups, L4C will offer workshops and build community among students who are leaders or active participants in Tufts student groups or other initiatives with a social change purpose.
Starting with three workshops this fall, Leaders for Change will help a wide range of Tufts students to develop specific the skills they need to successfully undertake leadership, active citizenship, community service and social change activities. In addition to providing direct skill-building, these workshops will also serve to create community among diverse student leaders and activists.

Doug Brugge, associate professor of public health and family medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine, has done extensive community-based research.
