Adjunct Faculty

The adjunct faculty of Tisch College are drawn from across the university. The purpose of the adjunct faculty is to strengthen active citizenship education and civic engagement research at Tufts. Tisch College adjunct faculty are appointed because they have a record of distinguished performance in one or more of the following areas:
  • Teaching a course with substantial active citizenship content
  • Civic engagement scholarship and/or professional practice
  • Leadership activities that build active citizenship at Tufts University

Adjunct faculty members advise the Tisch College dean and staff on strategic directions of the College and on the development and performance of College programs and activities. The faculty has an Executive Committee and a Research Committee.
