Alumni Programs in Your Community

Chapters
The Tufts University Alumni Association has dozens of chapters throughout the U.S. - from Alaska to Florida, and Maine to Hawaii - and internationally in Argentina, Canada, France, Great Britain, Greece, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, Spain, and Switzerland.

Many chapters host regular meetings designed to let the more than 80,000 Tufts alumni get to know and network with each other. Many support the university through reunion planning, alumni admission interviewing, the Tufts Institute for Lifelong Learning, and numerous other programs.

Tisch Active Citizenship Summers: Alumni Network
This innovative program connects Tufts students with alumni around the country who provide meaningful work experiences during the summer aimed at building leadership skills. In many instances, local alumni act as a mentor to the students. In its first year of operation, during the summer of 2005, three students held public service internships at NBC Nightly News, Share Our Strength, and Sen. Edward M. Kennedy's Education Office.
