    Dutko Fellowship Program Old

The Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service is pleased to participate in the eighth year of the Dutko Fellowship Program. This program provides 10-Month Public Policy fellowships in Washington, D.C., for graduating Tufts University seniors. The program is sponsored by the Dan Dutko Memorial Foundation in partnership with the Tufts Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service.

The Dutko Fellowships memorialize the unique gift that Dan Dutko, founding partner of the Dutko Group, had of truly connecting with people for the sole purpose of helping them realize their dreams. These fellowships reflect Dan's special interest in helping young, idealistic people who are drawn to Washington, D.C., because they want to make a difference. These fellowships are also designed to carry on Dan's legacy of mentoring the many women and men who sought his counsel. The fellowships will be targeted to women and men who have exhibited a strong interest in understanding public policy management processes.

The Dan Dutko Fellowship Program was created by Dan's wife, Deb Jospin (J80) and Dutko Worldwide, in memory of Dan after his death in 1999. Dan Dutko was an active political and policy insider in Washington D.C. and founded a successful, bi-partisan consulting firm and was a keen mentor to people of all ages. Each year, Ms. Jospin and Dutko Worldwide seek appropriate Washington D.C. internship placements for the fellows for a ten month period. Along with a living stipend, the fellowship includes regular contact with Ms. Jospin and Dutko Worldwide, providing an invaluable source of networking in this intensely networked city.
